Why therapy might be the next smart move

Therapy gives you a confidential place to be fully honest, with someone who doesn't need you to be right. It's not a sign that you're failing. It's a strategic investment in how you practice, love, and live.

Therapy For Lawyers Miami

Individual therapy with me is built for Florida lawyers, from associates and partners to solo practitioners and in-house counsel, whose careers look impressive on paper but feel heavy in real life.

Maybe it's the Sunday night dread. The inbox you check at midnight. The perfectionism that makes every email feel like evidence. The glass of wine that has quietly become the off switch.

In our 50-minute sessions, we'll focus on the specific pressures you're carrying, connect the dots between your history and your habits, and blend insight with clear action. You're not just talking about change. You're actually living it.

What lawyers often bring to therapy

I can help With:

Anxiety that spikes when the stakes are high and never fully lifts when they pass

Burnout that shows up as exhaustion, cynicism, or a quiet dread of Monday

Perfectionism and imposter syndrome, even after the wins

Relationship strain, from a partner who feels like they come second to the practice to patterns you keep repeating

Career crossroads: the partnership track, leaving the firm, going out on your own, or walking away from law altogether

FAQs

Do you offer remote/online sessions?

I am 100% virtual.

Do you accept insurance?

Not at this time, I am private pay & do not accept insurance.

Is therapy really confidential?

Yes. What you share is protected by confidentiality and HIPAA, with the standard legal exceptions, such as a risk of harm to yourself or others. I'm happy to walk through exactly what that means before we begin.

What is your fee?

My rate for an individual session is $250. Limited sliding-scale availability by request.

How long is each therapy session?

50 minutes.

I argue for a living. Won't I just talk in circles?

Possibly, at first. Analytical people tend to intellectualize, and that's not a flaw. We'll use that strength, then go underneath it, with practical tools and accountability so insight turns into change.

Take the next step toward a life that feels as good as it looks.

If you’re ready to stop white-knuckling your way through success and get honest support, we can start with a brief consultation to see if working together is a fit.
